Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe?

Yes. All physical activities present some inherent risk, but the taggers are harmless. They use a light emitting diode (LED) similar to ones used in TV remotes. Although it’s called laser tag, lasers are not used in the taggers.

Are the beams visible?

No. The wavelength is in the near infra-red beyond human perception. The taggers do have a visible muzzle-flash option that blinks a very low powered red or blue light.

How old do players have to be?

Players need to be at least 8 years old. The taggers weigh about six pounds and young players can have a hard time holding them.

Do the taggers work in the daylight?

Yes. Their range can be adjusted from 50 ft. to over 500 ft. in bright sunlight and upwards of 1100 ft. at night.

What do I need to wear?

Closed toe shoes are required and clothing suitable for the weather. A boonie hat or hook-and-loop head strap is provided to hold the sensors on the players head.

Is my backyard big enough?

It depends on the number of players and their age/size. Typically, a basketball court size space or greater is good. Front yard to backyard games are possible and so are cul-de-sac games as long as the necessary precautions are in place.

How much time is needed?

For a typical 2 hour event with 10 inflatables, about 1 hour for setup and safety walk through with 1 hour for take down.

Can I have a custom event?

Absolutely! That’s what we’re all about. We can mimic popular video games, play scenario games in the forest, you name it.

What about rain?

Laser tag can be played in most weather conditions at the client’s discretion. We will gladly reschedule because of inclement weather.
